Plant: Early spring bulb. Ideal for rock gardens and naturalizing on slopes or berms. Unlike most other Muscar this plant has flared petals with a stripe. Sometimes listed as Hyacinthella azurea.
Origin: Mediterranean region
Zone: 4 - 8
Flowers: tiny, sky blue bells on 4-6” spike. Blooms for two weeks.
Foliage: two to three grass-like leaves to 8 ".
Culture: full sun to part sun. Well-drained soils. Rarely bothered by pests or diseases.
