Muscari in  garden

Plant: Mid spring bulb. Ideal for edging garden beds and naturalizing in open woodlands and meadows

Origin: eastern Mediterranean region

Zone: 4 - 8

Flowers: bluish purple, fragrant, urn-shaped flowers on a spike like racemse to 10". Blooms mid sping for three weeks.

Foliage: several grass-like, basal leaves. 6-12” floppy, but ephemeral. Usually sends up more leaves in autumn.

Culture
: full sun to part shade. Grows well in most soils. Rarely bothered by pests or diseases.
