Plant: Early to mid spring bulb. Used in groupings as accents, also naturalized on rocky slopes or berms.

Flowers: contrasting light blue and dark violet flowers on 8-16” spike. Blooms for two weeks. Light blue flowers are sterile. Best grape hyacinth for cutflower arrangement.
Foliage: solitary strap-like leaf to 12".
Culture: full sun to part sun. Well-drained soils. Rarely bothered by pests or diseases.
