Plant: Very early spring bulb. Useful in mass plantings and naturalizing under trees and in lawns.

Origin: soutwestern Asia

Flowers
: small, starry, nodding, blue flowers on a short raceme. Blooms for three weeks. 4-6”. Multiple racemes per bulb. Spreads readily.

Foliage: several bright green basal leaves about 6”

Culture
: full sun to part shade. Grows well in most soils. Rarely bothered by pests or diseases
