Plant: Early spring bulb. Useful in mass plantings and naturalizing in rock gardens and on berms.

Origin:central and southern Europe

Zone: 3 - 8

Flowers: small, starry flowers on a thin raceme. Blooms for two weeks. 4-6”. Blue, white, and pinkish colors available. Seeds freely when happy.

Foliage: usually two bright green basal leaves about 6”

Culture
: full sun to part shade. Well-drained soils. Rarely bothered by pests or diseases.
