Plant: Summer flowering bulb. Useful in containers or as a bedding plant combined with colorful annuals.

Origin: southern Africa

Zone: 8 - 11

Flowers: greenish white, half inch flowers on a cylindrical raceme 1-3'. Blooms for many weeks in summer. Retains forms and beauty while ripening seed.

Foliage: broad bright green leaves ~18”, often with purple speckling.

Culture: full sun to part shade. Grows well in most soils. Rarely bothered by pests or diseases.
