Plant: Late spring bulb. Useful under ornamental trees and for naturalizing in meadows and woodlands.

Origin: Eastern United States

Zone: 4 - 8

Flowers: light blue, starry flowers on a spike-like raceme. Blooms for about two weeks. 12-18”. Prominent stamens add to beauty and grace of wild camass.

Foliage: channeled leaves to ~12”.


Culture: full sun to part shade. Grows well in most soils. Rarely bothered by pests or diseases.
