Plant: Mid spring bulb. Ideal for naturalizing in low meadows and along ponds and streams.


Origin: western North America


Zone: 4 - 8


Flowers: sky blue, 1.5” flowers on a spike-like raceme 12-24". Blooms for about two weeks in May. Forms strong blooming clumps.


Foliage: channeled, grayish green leaves ~18” when blooming.


Culture: full sun to part shade. Grows well in most soils. Rarely bothered by pests or diseases.
