Flowers
: 5" lavender goblets with silvery sheen. Cultivars include "Barr's Purple" and "Whitewell Purple".

Foliage: Grass-like leaves grow to about 8" after flowers fade. Distinctive silver stripe down middle of blade.

Culture
: Sun to deciduous shade in well drained soil. Most pest resistant of the tasty crocus.
