Culture
: sunny location in rich soil. Drought tolerant, but harvest will be reduced. Few pest or diseases. Best to direct sow in the garden.

Harvest Time
: mid-summer through frost. Pick when young to promote more pods.

Storage: pickled, frozen in gumbos/soups
