Foliage: large, palmately lobed leaves on long stalks.

Culture: part sun to shade. Tolerant of all soils, except wet. Mulch with compost or humus. Suckers at base to form colonies. Coarse habit with sparse branches. Rejuvenate by pruning back hard in spring.
